Jesus said: “If you hold to my teachings, you really are my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Freedom House is a non-profit, faith-based recovery ministry based in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho.
Our vision is to see men and women moved from addiction to freedom through discipleship in the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Our programs utilize a combination of out-patient treatment providers, personal accountability studies and evidence-based programs, as recognized by the Idaho Department of Corrections, in the context of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in a safe, sober, and welcoming environment.
We are currently providing the Sweet Magnolia women’s recovery program and the Bethesda men’s recovery program.
Freedom House is based in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho, in Bonner County.
God’s Word is at the core of our program. From daily study to discipleship and mentoring, the Bible is our foundation, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ its primary focus.
We believe real and lasting recovery can only happen through trust in God, faith in Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit working in their lives.
Road to Recovery
Seeing lives change as they move from addiction to recovery is our goal. Men and women are encouraged to focus on their personal recovery. Our case management team works with participants to obtain employment, engage with the various social support systems and to develop and progress toward their personal goals.
